Have you guys heard of Queen Anne High School in Seattle? It was originally built in 1909 and converted to condos in 2007. See the video below for a tour of this amazing building.
Once a popular high school for Seattle teenagers, this historic building that sits on the top of Queen Anne Hill is home to 137 condo units. I remember the grand opening about 10 years ago. There was a lot of interest from the public. The demand was not a surprise to me. It is not very often that you get to see full restorations of this magnitude in Seattle. The building is still just as cool now as it was then.
I’m going to take you guys on a tour of unit #440. It came on the market about 2 weeks ago. It is a 692sf studio with vaulted ceilings, huge windows, and some nice views. Hopefully, the video (see below) gives you a good look at both the building and the interiors of unit #440.
For those of you that haven’t seen the building yet, there are decorative items throughout the space that remind you of the school's past. Chalkboards, bookshelves, and massive concrete hallways with original window detail. From the minute you pull up to the circular courtyard entrance to the building, you’ll be in awe of this restored Terracotta facade.
If you haven’t noticed yet, I am trying to publish as many videos as I can so you guys can get a good look at unique condo spaces all over Seattle.
