PADDLEBOARD ON LAKE UNION
I have 3 reason why you should paddleboard on the Lake Union. You can take in the views of Downtown Seattle. You will get up close and personal with some of Seattle’s floating homes. Finally, it's not as hard as it looks, trust me. You’ll have a blast!
DUCK DODGE AT GAS WORKS PARK
Founded by 3 Seattleites in 1974, Duck Dodge has been a Seattle tradition for nearly 50 years. It's a sailboat race every Tues. from May to Sept, starting at 7pm. The best view is from Gas Works Park. This is a must see during Summer in Seattle!
SUNSET AT GOLDEN GARDENS
Golden Gardens is a public park in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. It is an amazing location to watch a summer sunset in Seattle. Get there early. Parking can be tough. EAT ON THE WATER
Eating at a Seattle restaurant can be a memorable experience. Especially if you choose a restaurant on the water. Seattle has lots of great options to take in the view while dining al fresco!
GREAT WHEEL AT SUNDOWN
The Seattle Great Wheel opened in 2012. It stands over 175 feet and was the tallest wheel on the West Coast when it opened. The climate controlled gondolas can carry up to 8 passengers each. Do it, you won’t regret it.
OLYMPIC SCULPTURE PARK ART WALK
The Olympic Sculpture Park is operated by the Seattle Art Museum. It is free and open to the public. On a warm summer day, you’ll love exploring the 9-acre park, the beach and the contemporary sculptures. Good views the Space Needle too!
COFFEE AT PIKE PLACE MARKET
One of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle has a location at the market – Storyville. Their Pike location features incredible views of the Market and the coffee is outstanding. They have great treats too!
WATER TAXI TO ALKI
Have you heard of Alki? It was one of the first neighborhoods settled when Seattle was discovered. It also happens to be a SUPER popular summer spot. Enjoy lunch or dinner – the people watching is top notch!

Pioneer Square is one of Seattle’s most historic neighborhoods. It is full of great coffee, art galleries and some amazing restaurants and bars. Enjoy a cold beverage in on of the many public spaces or duck out of the heat.

Seattle is home to 7 neighborhood farmers markets. This is an awesome opportunity to try some locally grown food and some tasty treats. This is a great summer experience whether you are single or you want to enjoy with your family.

Built in 1912, the Volunteer Park Water Tower offers a rare glimpse of the City. The climb up is worth it. Enjoy the park during a warm summer day and you’ll be sure to go back. Especially after you see these views!
ICE CREAM IN MADISON PARK
Madison Park is one of the cutest neighborhoods in all of Seattle. In fact, it use to be the summer destination years ago for all Seattleites. During the summer, the beach is packed full of people. Enjoy a scoop of ice cream and kick your feet up!
